Debut EP from Melbourne's newest slacker-pop sweethearts.
A rich tapestry of whimsical guitar-pop and infectious vocal hooks, ‘Cold Summers’ flatters to deceive. The brainchild of frontman and multi-instrumentalist Tim Karmouche, Crepes‘ debut EP explores the far corners of a wandering mind and exhibits its findings with irresistible charm.
Drawing on inspiration from the likes of the Go-Betweens and Dick Diver, it seems only appropriate that Melbourne’s own dolewave deity Mikey Young was commissioned for mixing/mastering duties.
I don't hear a lot of this kind of music, gives me ,loose Sonic Youth vibes. Everything about it is cool, like too cool for school cool. I want to skip class and spray paint an alley with these people. Kyle Zarnoch
